Order Slugs Music

It was 20 years ago...March 6, 1983... Dag, Gregg, Mike and Al (Paulson) joined together for the first time to make beautiful racket in a cozy Park Ridge, Illinois basement. Mike was probably late, Dag was probably too loud, Gregg drove a LeCar (no kidding) and Al wore a muscle t-shirt with a giant eagle emblazoned on it. These slugs were destined join together as a band.

Share your story! Lots of friends/relatives/fans have marked memorable moments in their lives in conjunction with the Slugs. Some people met their spouse-to-be at a Slugs concert, some have celebrated major life events at Slugs shows, and some babies were likely conceived immediately following a more inspiring/perspiring Slugs performance. Send us your Slugs story! Maybe your favorite Slugs story was a memorable show, where you perhaps maybe you met a famous celebrity, and perhaps that celebrity was your special friend for a while...ahem...or maybe you were so absorbed with the sounds of the Slugs in your car CD player that you mistakenly drove off the road and into a fish hatchery where you became trapped in your car and had to be rescued by divers! Ok, maybe not. But maybe you fondly recalled the time you invited the Slugs to crash in the living room of your college frat house, and still recall how the band ran you out of hot water which made you late for class, resulting in an F in psych that really killed your GPA.
